A Look Into My Easter Weekend ✝️

The resurrection of Jesus is not just a beautiful story.

It is the foundation of everything I believe. Without it, there is no victory, no hope, no promise of new life. But because He rose, everything changes. This Resurrection Sunday, I’m reminded that death didn’t win, darkness didn’t prevail, and the story didn’t end at the cross.

On Saturday

Saturday I did my morning routine which includes praying to God and spending time with God. That evening/night I spent time with my mom and grandma watching The Ten Commandments. It’s one of my mom’s favorite movies. It had become one of mine too. Since I’ve been alive, my mom watches The Ten Commandments every year that it is shown on ABC. I’m happy that that’s something we both can share and enjoy together. I put together a nice charcuterie board together for us with some Rosé sparkling cider. I truly enjoyed my time with with my family.

On Sunday

On Sunday, I started My day off with thanking God for the ultimate sacrifice and gift. I did my daily routine with God. I celebrated Resurrection Sunday in the house of the Lord with my family and church family. It felt perfect that Resurrection Sunday happened on the first Sunday of the month. My church usually stream service on YouTube but the cameras messed up so I can’t share the service with you all. Below will be pictures and videos I captured of the service to share with you all. The Easter program and sermon was so beautiful. It truly touched my heart. I was in tears because I think of how God displayed the ultimate level of love by sacrificing his son for my sins and for your sins. The things he endured I couldn’t imagine going through it. Jesus did it because of his obedience to God and his love for us. Knowing that makes me work everyday to live for Him(Jesus).

After Church

After church my fiancé and I had a nice lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, Kpot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot. We had a nice meal and enjoyed each other’s company.

Later That Night

I ended the night watching  The Chosen:The Last Super. The Chosen is one of my favorite shows. Watching the last super being played out hit different for me. I have read about the last super in the Bible and heard sermons on it. To get a visual of how it played out put things in perspective for me in a different way. I’m so happy I got to end my night watching that.

Looking back on this weekend, I’m grateful for every moment—the quiet ones, the joyful ones, and even the reflective ones. Easter reminded me to slow down, to be present, and to appreciate the beauty of both faith and family. These are the moments I don’t want to rush past, but truly carry with me. I pray you all enjoyed your Easter weekend.

God Bless You All
