My Favorite Drug Store Foundations You all know by now I am all about affordable style and looks for less. I am a the same way about beauty.Today we are going to talk beauty the inexpensive way. Sometimes you don't have to spend a whole lot of money on beauty. Sometimes the drug store makeup does just as good as the high end or even better. Below I am showing you all my favorite drugstore foundations. I purchase them from Walmart most of the time. My favorite and go to out of all is Mabyelline's FIT Me foundation. Another Maybelline foundation I have in my collection is their SuperStay foundation. It was the first drugstore foundation I ever tried and I fell in love. Next I started to use Revlon's ColorStay and L'Oreal Tru Match. I decided to try those because simply I like to try new makeup and I had heard good things about them. Recently Revlon Tru Match changed some of their shades. My original shade was 400 Carmel. I just started using the shade 510 Pecan and its very much close to my old shade and I love it. Lately it has been my go to foundation. In Both shades I use normal to dry skin because I have eczema. I sometimes have dry shots pop up on my face so that formal is good for my skin. I use the shade Nut Brown C7 in the L'Oreal Tru Match. I love the formula for all these foundations. Besides having eczema I have sensitive skin. I can't use everything on my face so I will break out. I have not had any problems as far as breakouts with these foundations. If you have those problems like myself these will be great for you. They are also good foundations for starting off with and to help build your collection because they are affordable. Outfit Details Tank-Time And Tru(Walmart) Shorts-Levis Sandals and Sunglasses-Forever21 Today's blog post I am sharing with you guys a simple everyday look I put together for Memorial Day and a recap of my day. My niche is everyday outfit looks,so my outfit choice for the holiday would be no different. I decided to keep it very simple. Most Memorial Day activities take place outside so you want to wear a cool and comfortable outfit. I choose a simple red cami tank from walmat. Its from their brand Time And Tru. It is only 4 dollar!! You can find it on their website(www.Walmart.com) and at your local Walmart. I paired the cami with an old style piece I've had for a few years now. They are my Bermuda shorts from the jean brand Levis. My sandals are from Forever21. While you are out enjoying all of the Memorial Day funners its a must you protect your eyes so sunglasses are a must. I choose to wear one of my favorite pair of sunglasses which match my outfit. It doesn't take much to put together a cute outfit. You don't have to spend a lot of money and you can use style pieces you already have in your closet. Memorial Day Weekend Outfit Details Dress-Walmart Sandals-Time and Tru(Walmart) Purse-Michael Kors Sunglasses -Michal Kors Memorial Day weekend....the weekend for parties,bbqs,fun and family. This year I spent my weekend with my family at one of our favorite restaurants "Longhorn Steakhouse". For our family outing I decided to wear one of my new dress I purchased from Walmart recently. Its a nice fitting dress. It hugs the body in the right places. The material is so soft, which makes it so comfortable to wear, especially in 90 degree weather. My shoes are another favorite part of my outfit. Its from Walmart as well. My Outfit was less than 25 dollars. I always say you can look cute and stylish without breaking the bank. The most expensive part of my look is my purse. Its always nice to have at least one expensive piece to your look. Below are shots of my complete look and shots of my outing at Longhorn this weekend. Midori Linea Event Me & Jewelry Designer Sakura This past weekend I went to an event at the Aloft Hotel in Downtown Tampa. The event was for the new jewelry line from the brand Midori Linea by Sakura. I had a wonderful time. I got to meet the amazing designer Sakura (pictured above). Casual But Chic Yesterday I spent my Saturday in Plant City Florida. I was visiting downtown and I took a visit to "The Krazy Kup" Coffee shop. If you want details on that check out my previous blog post. I wanted to wear an outfit that was casual but also chic. This is the outfit look I put together. I took a simple black t-shirt and a pair of my favorite jeans.The shirt is very soft and comfortable. It is a great shirt to wear on a warm spring day or a hot summer day. Krazy Kup Coffee This weekend I took a trip to Historical Downtown Plant City and I visited Krazy Kup Coffee shop. I had heard about it and how great it was so I decided to check it out for myself. Now I am not a big coffee drinker but they have other beverages. They have coffee of course.They have ice coffee,espressos,tea,hot chocolate and smoothies. They also have salads,wraps and pastries. They even have ice cream. Its a very cozy place. They have sitting inside, outside in front of the shop, and sitting on the side of the building.They have great decor. The staff is very friendly. Since I am not a coffee drinker I ordered a strawberry smoothie. I had a great time and can not wait to visit again. My outfit details will be up on my next blog post so be on the look out for that.

"Old Ways Won't Open New Doors" I've been blogging for a few years now. It started off as something just for fun until I got more passionate about it. That passion grew for me about 3 years ago when I started this blog. This year was the first year that I knew I had to make some changes if I wanted to be taken more seriously so I have begun making those changes. I feel the first thing I needed to change was how I posed in my pictures. I was use to just standing and doing regular poses in a cute outfit. I learned that it's more to it than that. Those regular poses make for cute pictures but it doesn't catch people's attention and keep it. With what I am trying to do as a brand of my own and as a brand ambassador I knew I had to step out my comfort zone and explore different types of poses. I had to change the locations of my pictures. I was just use to taking pictures around my house or outside my house. Doing it in the same old locations became boring because everyone was use to seeing it. Another way to make your pictures stand out and make people take notice is to use different locations as well along with different poses. When planning a blog post about an outfit you have to pick the right location. The location has to match your outfit/look. You can't be in a gritty location with a girly outfit on. Let the location match your look. Another step I had to take was being comfortable taking pictures with people around. When you take pictures in public places there may be people around and sometimes people will stop and stare to see what's taking place. My hardest thing at first was working on not paying attention to them and keeping my mind focused on my facial expressions and my poses. If I focused on them and not what I was working to accomplish it would read on my face and in my body language(the way I posed). I'm not totally there just yet but I'm better at it than I use to be. With me now taking more pictures in public I feel I gradually becoming more comfortable and my photos will only get better.
