  • Affordable Activewear From Ross

Hey Sweethearts!! Today's post is related to one of my favorite F words......FASHION. In today's post I will be sharing with you some activewear pieces I got for my birthday via Ross Dress For Less. One of my goals for the new year was to be more active. I go for walks on Saturday mornings. I had some activewear but I needed some more pieces. These pieces I got were perfect. These pieces aren't actually sets. They were separate pieces that I made into two different sets. The tops were both $7.00($6.99). The yoga capris and pants were both $10.00($9.99). All four items were very affordable. They all are very comfortable. They are nice to wear if you're going for a walk, doing yoga or exercising. It will keep you cool as possible when you start to sweat from your workout. I definitely will be searching for more of these pieces. Thank you so much for checking out this post. Below I have included visuals of the outfits. If you have any comments and questions please leave them below or email me. -Sa'kia|Glamor

  • South Tampa Wellness Spa

Hey Sweeties!! This past Sunday I got a chance to collab with one of best wellness spas in the Tampa area. If you've been following me on Instagram you would know I'm big on living a healthy lifestyle and wellness is important to me. The opportunity to collab with South Tampa Wellness was perfect. South Tampa Wellness Spa offers so many different forms of therapy. They offer massage therapy, IV therapy as well a b12 shot and a float tank. I was able to enjoy all of what they had to offer. Massage Threapy This was not my first time getting a massage. I like to treat myself to one at least once a year. I usually get a relaxation massage. This go round I got a deep tissue massage. I definitely needed it. I had a lot of tension and stress in my upper back. My masseuse could tell right away when she started on that area. I didn't know I was stressed but your body has a way of letting you know. My masseuse name was Zara. She was very friendly. She did an amazing job helping my body to relax and to release the stress and tension I was feeling. I can say it truly helped. My body has been feeling more at ease. Float Tank After my massage I got into their infamous Float Tank. This was my first time experiencing it. When it was offered to me I wasn't too sure. After thinking it over I decided to try it out. As I've grown older I'm big on trying new things. I'm so glad I got to experience this. It is a tank that's full of salt water to help you naturally float. There are many benefits to the float tank. The benefits I gained were relief of mental distress, improved mood, muscle recovery and improved sleep. If given the opportunity I think everyone should try the float tank at least once. IV Threapy There are 6 different forms of IV Threapy. The one I think was the best for me was the "The Executive". It's good for anixety, insomnia, mental clarity and focus. This is another form of therapy everyone can benefit from. I had a wonderful experience at the South Tampa Wellness Spa. They made me feel welcomed and took great care of me. I would definitely go back. If you're in the Tampa area you should definitely check them out. Thank you for checking out this post, I appreciate the support. If you have any questions or comment feel free to leave then below or email me. -Sa'kia|Glamor

  • Chapter 33|Happy Birthday To Me

It's a wrap for you 32........Hello 33. Today is my 33rd birthday. Thank you God for blessing me with the gift of my 33rd birthday. I can’t express how thankful and grateful I am. 32 was a HUGE lesson. I learned so much and dealt with so much mentally. My mental health took a big hit. I think everything I dealt with at 32 was to grow me as a person and woman. God does not take you through things without you learning something from it or growing you. I also feel I went through it because God wanted me to make changes in my life. The changes I’ve made have really helped. Truly letting God guide me,him being with me and me being with him will help me on this new chapter of my life.  Me doing the work keeping these better habits, expanding my mind and growing will help me as well. I am looking forward to all the blessings and wonderful things God has in place and for me. I feel I am now prepared and ready for all of the good to come my way. Thank God & Cheers To 33!! Thank you for checking out this post. I appreciate you for supporting me. Leave all your comments & questions below or email me. -Sa'kia|Glamor My Outfit

  • My Solo Starbucks Date

Hey Sweeties,Happy Sunday Sweeties This weekend I took myself on my second solo date. My first solo date was back in July. That post is right here (My Lunch Solo Date. For this solo date I went to Starbucks. Being in a relationship doesn’t mean you can’t take yourself out on dates. The longest relationship you’ll be in is with yourself. Learn to love and appreciate yourself by doing nice things for yourself whatever that may be. For me I like simple dates. So for this date Starbucks was the move. I enjoyed a croissant and a strawberry cream frapp which is my favorite. I brought along a book I'm currently reading. The time to myself was nice. Just getting out and enjoying life more has been my plan for the year. I've been doing good so far. I plan to explore more. Below are visuals from my solo date. I pray you all enjoyed this post and the visuals below. Thank you so much for checking this out and stay tuned for future post. -Sa'kia|Glamor Enjoying My Solo Date My Croissant & Strawberry Cream Frappe My Treats & My Current Read A Beautiful Mural In Starbucks My Outfit

There are so many gems in my area that I didn't know about. I am now making it my business to explore these places. One my first excursions of the year was exploring Midtown Tampa with my future husband. It's a nice and cute area with apartments, restaurants, stores, salons,a Whole Foods and a spot for yoga. The architect of the buildings are well done and very modern. The landscape is beautiful as well. The people are nice. We definitely had a good time and will be back again. • You Won’t Break My Soul:My Mental Health Journey

Happy Topic Tuesday, I pray you are well. Today’s topic for today is mental health. In this post I’m going to share with you my mental health journey. Depression…….Anxiety  thought they had me. They thought they would break my soul. Little did they know I took what the devil meant for evil and turned it around for good. Last year was rough for me. I had a few moments where I thought things wouldn’t get better. I thought I was stuck in a place of depression and anxiety. It started to take over my life. It ruined some beautiful moments for me. It robbed me of the enjoyment of the things I once loved and love doing. I started to think this was my new normal and I was just going to have to get settled into it. I was ready for them to have me until one day I came to a realization. This was my life and I was going to gain control over it. The first step I took on my mental health journey was to acknowledge that I had a problem and that I couldn’t keep on the path I was on. I had to get professional help. I had to let someone know outside of my family and future husband. They had been so supportive but it wasn’t their job to “fix me”. I needed professional help. The next step was talking with my doctor. The timing when it all unfolded was perfect. My next doctors appointment was  coming up for my yearly checkup. During this appointment there were several questions that was asked about my overall health and mental health. This was my time to be totally honest about it and to let my doctor know everything. It felt amazing to open up and be honest about my mental health. She gave me a lot of options and tips to use. Going forward I knew there were things I needed to do as well to truly help myself. I needed to make some healthy changes and start better habits. I had to look at my life. I had to look at my habits. I had to decide if they were helping or harming me. I had to look at the things I was eating. I had to think of the things I was watching, listening to and reading. All of that can and will play a part in your mental health. On this new journey I am aware that life’s issues aren’t going to disappear. All the things I’m doing for my mental health isn’t going to magically make things perfect. That isn’t how life works. This new journey is to teach me how to handle these situations that will occur in life. Also to know to lean on God at all times. To be with him because he is forever with me. Thank you for allowing me to share this with you. It took me a lot to do this but I’m thankful I did. Stay tune to my mental health journey to see how I navigate through it. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. -Sa’kia|Glamor

  • Happy New Year,Let’s Catch Up

Happy New Year Sweeties!! I am back and I’m so happy to be back. How was the holidays for you all? I pray it was blessed and happy. Alright let’s get into things. I know it’s been a minute and I’ve been away for a while. I’ll be totally honest I was dealing with some things. The main thing I was dealing with was my mental health. I had some rough moments in 2022. I’m not going to say it was a totally bad year. I did have some great moments. I like to think of those moments more than the bad ones. Part of the end of the year got bad for me. I was in a totally dark place. I was at my lowest. When I got to that point I felt there was no hope. I felt like it was no need to be optimistic and to just get use to being in this place. Then I got to a point where I wasn’t going to let depression or anxiety have me. I wasn’t going to let it take over my life. I was going to take back control of  my life. I knew with doing so I would have to change. I was going to have to break bad habits and get the help I needed. I knew I was going to be on a new journey in life. With dealing with my mental health issues I also experienced a content creating burn out. As a Pisces we get bored with things. I was not feeling fulfilled. The content I was creating wasn’t fulfilling me anymore. My mindset and interest was changing. I knew I was evolving past what I was and what I was doing. I had to take a break and sit myself down to decide what direction I wanted to go in as far as a content creator. I knew fashion was going to be apart of it but with a new angle. Speaking on mental health became more of a big thing for me. I knew that would be part of my new niche. Lately I was staring to enjoy sharing lifestyle content. That’s when I knew I was on a new content creator journey. This new journey I am on is on a personal and professional level. It’s one I needed to take a while ago but it happened in God’s timing. I’m thankful for it and happy for it. I’m so happy you are here to join me for the ride. I will do my best to make this year a beautiful one. I know it will be a blessed one. God will be with me every step of the way as he always is. Happy New Year & Have A Blessed 2023.

  • Happy September|Pumpkin Spice Vibes

Happy September Pumpkins!! Finally…….my favorite time of year is here. I’ve been waiting for this time of year since last Fall(lol). Today I’m sharing a simple but oh so cute outfit for early Fall. This look is definitely giving “Pumpkin Spice” vibes. Believe it or not I got this dress 3 years ago. I never wore it until this year. I know you’re asking why, to be honest I don’t know. I say better late than never. This is a Time and Tru dress from Walmart. I love the burnt orange color. It just screams FALL and PUMPKIN. With warm colors, gold jewelry/accessories look best. I wanted my purse and shoes to match. The colors of my purse and sandals go well with the color of my dress. Boom…….that’s the outfit. A cute look that doesn't take long to put together. Here’s a little more info about this look. The visuals I provided below were taking by me. I used my selfie tripod. I set the timer and bam……you have visuals. Sometimes you don’t or won’t have anyone to take your pics so you have to do them yourself. Here is a link to my selfie tripod. Thanks so much for checking out my first official Fall post. Enjoy the visuals below. -Sa’kia|Glamor Link To My Sunnies The Visuals
